My children and I enjoyed the food, decor and staff at Casa Ramos. In my opinion, better than the other Mexican choices in town. The salsa has a fresh taste and I like the Carne Asada Burrito.

I ate at Casa Ramos a few weeks ago and I thought that the service was exceptional and the food was great. Sure the service may be a bit slow, but it’s a new restaurant and I think that it is only fair to give it time. Other than that, the staff were wonderful at providing service if they did make a wrong, they did their best to correct it. They are only human too. The food was very good. The chip sauce was a bit spicy, but good and others really enjoyed the hotness. The decor is very nice and I think that this restaurant will do well here in Fargo. I like Mexican Village, but I can say that Casa Ramos beats Mexi Vills new 45th location in both service and food taste and quality. Best wishes to Casa Ramos and I hope that the Fargo, West Fargo and Moorhead community supports this restaurant because I believe they will do well.

First I must say that it’s as far away from “REAL” mexican food as there is. Casa Ramos does a Tex-Mex version of it. Taste is horrible. Unbelieveable that someone would actually consider this taste a decent or even good taste. It was so blah. So much for asking for hot…all I got was about mild. If we can even consider it that. (and I don’t any spice food) The staff was really rude. Never had I seen anyone so disrespectful. I am hispanic and still they TRIED to talk to me in English. I said my order in Spanish and the guy goes “I don’t understand.” The kids meals are so bad my little boy didn’t even want the fries they make. That’s how bad that was. (trust me, I didn’t blame him for not eating them) Then when I asked for a refil of Dr. Pepper….I recieved someone elses Pepsi while she recieved my Dr. Pepper. We weren’t even seated together…meaning I took a drink from someone elses straw. How disgusting is that. When I told my waiter about what happened, I didn’t even get an apology. Talk about rudeness. Then I asked for my bill, and they waiter insisted that I take the horrible food with. Thanks, but no thanks. One taste is all it took for me to decide that the Acapulco is where I’ll be going from now on. They do make authentic Mexican food. There staff is nice and takes care of their customers. If a mix up happens they apologize and do something about it. Instead of just walking it off. Just in case you didn’t figure it out, I never got my refil of Dr. Pepper. He wanted me to keep drinking Pepsi. GROSS!!! Never in my life will I step in Casa Ramos…not even if after eating there I’d get money for it.
